Fluent in Russian and Spanish, Olga has lived in Curaçao, Nigeria, Russia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand. A true global citizen, Olga’s overseas experience has bestowed her with a broad world view and enabled her to adapt to rapidly changing environments in real time. Her perspectives also allow her to create targeted, culturally-specific solutions for clients domestically and internationally.

A leading communications and public affairs strategist, Olga brings more than two decades of communications experience honed by working for leading corporations, non-profits, trade associations, and public relations agencies. Olga is skilled at building and managing client reputations, responding to crisis, and advancing policy priorities. Throughout her career, she has leveraged her expertise in program management, policy advocacy, grassroots campaigns, media relations, and special event execution to achieve demonstrable results for clients in the U.S., Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, and Latin America. At IMPACT, Olga provides clients with strategic counsel on corporate communications, crisis and reputation management, media relations, and public affairs campaigns.

Previously in senior leadership roles at top DC public relations and government affairs firms, Olga provided corporate, governmental, and non-profit clients with strategic communications and public affairs counsel. She also worked closely with Lanny Davis, a prominent attorney and well-known crisis communications expert, on various litigation and legal issues. Having managed numerous complex campaigns involving media relations and policy advocacy, Olga has an established track record of developing and implementing effective strategic campaigns.

During her career, Olga has been featured as a communications expert in media outlets. She has written powerful opinion pieces and secured placement for her clients in leading outlets including: The Washington Post, CNN, Forbes, Reuters, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, The Daily Herald (Chicago), The Hill, Washington Times, El Nuevo Día (Puerto Rico), and a wide variety of other publications. Olga is a sought-after media strategist and counselor who has prepared high-level executives and government officials for broadcast media appearances.

Earlier in her career, Olga was Corporate Communications Manager for CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Houston, Texas. As a key member of the government and public affairs leadership team, Olga managed all internal and external communications for the corporation and its three refineries. In her prior role as Social Programs Manager, Olga also oversaw the company’s social responsibility portfolio, including its flagship multi-million dollar heating oil donation program and community-based programs focusing on social and environmental issues.

Olga graduated cum laude from the American University in Washington, D.C., with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and went on to receive a Master of Arts in International Development from the same university.
